Are you worried about your child’s mental health and unsure where to turn for help? Do you want them to find healthier behaviors and emotional stability?
At ViewPoint Center, we help families just like yours by encouraging healthy recovery and preventing future emergencies. During the 8 weeks patients spend at our residential program, we assess medication and diagnosis utilizing a variety of diagnostic tools within a range of settings and activities. After a diagnosis is formed, we begin treatment. During treatment programming, we continue to reassess the diagnosis until the end of your child’s stay.
Our residential setting, academic programming, and recreational activities are extremely important to the assessment and treatment process at ViewPoint Center. All of these components contribute to the overall success of the diagnostic process and treatment plan.
ViewPoint Center provides an optional stabilization track for teens experiencing acute psychiatric episodes or other serious mental health crises.

Our community-based, tightly knit residential program will encourage your child to support fellow patients, form strong friendships, and build up their communication skills.
Emotional crises can leave teens feeling helpless and alone. At ViewPoint Center, we give patients the coping strategies to deal with any future emotional challenges.
Mental health treatment should support your child’s education, not detract from it. Residents at ViewPoint Center spend four hours of each weekday immersed in a classroom setting. This environment not only helps us assess your child’s struggles, but also encourages academic growth and keeps them on the path to success.

Getting patients active through recreational activities helps them boost confidence and gain social skills. We also use these activities in the assessment process as a way to observe interactions with peers and their level of engagement in the activity. Additionally, involvement in physical activity is known to boost mental wellness.
