Peter Brickey, CMHC

Primary Therapist

Peter was born in Bakersfield, California and raised in the southern Utah area (St. George). He has made northern Utah his home since 2002. Peter received his Bachelor’s degree at Weber State University, majoring in Psychology. He received a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from University of Phoenix. Peter has worked with adolescents who face mental health challenges since 2005. His experience varies from working with kids in community mental health to residential treatment for adolescents. He has training and experience with various modalities including Motivational Interviewing, Aggression Replacement Training, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, NOJOS (Utah Network on Juveniles Offending Sexually), Prime for Life (Psycho educational group therapy for people with substance abuse), Domestic Violence training, and Sexual Addiction Group Education. In his off time, Peter enjoys activities with his family. He also plays the bass guitar in a local band with friends.
