Stabilization
Before sending your teen to a wilderness therapy program, consider a teen mental health center like ViewPoint Center instead. ViewPoint Center, one of top residential mental health facilities, offers safe facilities where our patients can stabilize and rebalance. While not every patient needs this step, for those who do, our Medical Team determines how well medications are working and the potential side effects of each medication separately. Once our patients are stabilized we can start the assessment and treatment process.

Nearly 75% of patients entering Viewpoint are misdiagnosed. Our diagnoses are focused on a full medication evaluation, diagnostic assessment, and then continual reassessment. Our comprehensive approach and team environment offers a clearer picture of how to help your child going forward.

ViewPoint Center is a full-comprehensive assessment center. The mission of our assessment is to provide support stabilization, diagnostic clarity, and the formulation of a longitudinal treatment plan for optimal treatment options.
The diagnostic profile includes the full continuum of mental health disorders. The assessment is achieved via psychotherapy, psychological testing, classroom assessments, therapeutic milieu, and psychiatric stabilization. Therapy is provided by licensed clinicians, and each child receives an individual therapy session and check-ins daily, one family therapy session and five group therapy sessions a week. Each child meets with a licensed Psychiatrist for medical consultation and follow-up.
