Stabilization
ViewPoint Center offers safe facilities where our patients can stabilize and rebalance. While not every patient needs this step, for those who do, our Medical Team determines how well medications are working and the potential side effects of each medication separately. Once our patients are stabilized we can start the assessment and treatment process.

Assessment is about clarifying diagnosis. We begin using a range of assessment tests. We continue with individual and group therapy as well as residential and academic activities designed to give a more comprehensive and clear assessment.
Read MoreDiagnosis
Nearly 75% of patients entering Viewpoint are misdiagnosed. ViewPoint diagnoses are focused on a full medication evaluation, diagnostic assessment, and then continual reassessment. Our comprehensive approach and team environment offers a clearer picture of how to help your child going forward.

Our doctors, nurses, and therapists work with family home providers to establish a quick baseline and understand what has been tried to date. Our goal is not to duplicate effort and established patterns. Rather, we aim to take advantage of the 24/7 care to build off any successes or challenges.
Medications Working Together
With doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists, and others offering guidance and care to clients, it is not uncommon for medications to work against one another. Our goal is to assess and clarify diagnoses with the help of home providers. Because of ViewPoints ability to monitor your child at all hours, we will be able to observe how medications are working together or against one another. We want to make sure that your child is on the best regimen.
24 / 7 Care
ViewPoint Center provides comprehensive stabilization, assessment, and diagnostic services. We recognize that struggles and successes do not onlu occur during business hours, which is why we are committed to 24 / 7 nursing and residential care. We are there to provide continuous support like larger mental hospitals but in a smaller, personalized environment specifically for this age group.
