Stabilization
Before sending your teen to a wilderness therapy program, consider a teen mental health hospital like ViewPoint Center instead. ViewPoint Center offers safe facilities where our patients can stabilize and rebalance. While not every patient needs this step, for those who do, our Medical Team determines how well medications are working and the potential side effects of each medication separately. Once our patients are stabilized we can start the assessment and treatment process.

Assessment is about clarifying the diagnosis. We begin using a range of assessment tests. We continue with individual and group therapy as well as residential and academic activities designed to give a more comprehensive and clear assessment.

Immediately upon arrival to campus you will be greeted warmly by the front desk staff. From there, you are invited into the main hub that acts as the “nerve center” of ViewPoint. This desk is occupied all day, every day, to ensure an immediate response to the needs of our students and families.
From this hub, extends separate arms of our teen mental hospital that includes small classrooms, offices, and client residences. The main building has an intimate feel to provide clients with structure and comfort.
Inviting, Private Campus
Our 7-acre campus provides a beautiful, serene treatment location for a teen mental hospital. ViewPoint Center is purposely small, with a limit of 26 beds, to ensure we offer the highest quality care to each and every child.
Just 40 minutes north from Salt Lake International Airport, we are easily accessible year round. Nearly 60% of our patients come to us through transportation services.
When you are ready, we can work with you directly to arrange transportation plans from home or a current therapeutic program.
